I Need Your Help to Cover President Trump’s Des Moines Rally on Thursday

des moines

UPDATE: The fundraiser is over, and while I unfortunately was not able to meet my goal, I received enough donations to cover Trump’s Friday rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan instead. Thanks for your support!

The election may be over, but they’ve gone and pulled me back in. President Donald Trump is currently doing something that is unprecedented in American history: he’s continuing to hold rallies, circumventing the mainstream media and bringing his message directly to the voters who put him in office. Everything that’s happened since Election Day has shown Trump to be a man of integrity and decisiveness, and I want to continue my election coverage by reporting on one of his USA Thank You rallies.

But in order to do so, I need your help.

President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence are holding a rally in Des Moines, Iowa this Thursday, December 8. Because Des Moines is close by and because I already reported on the Iowa caucus earlier this year, I want to get out there and report on Trump’s rally. While I can no longer cover events via Twitter and Periscope, I can post video on my YouTube channel, and I will also be doing an article for Right On.

Due to the brevity of the trip and the short distance to Des Moines, my budget is only $200. This covers my car rental, gas, food, tolls and accommodation. However, due to the fact that the rally is on Thursday and Des Moines is a six-hour drive from Chicago, I need to leave by Wednesday afternoon. Because of this, I need to make my fundraising goal within 24 hours: by 9am EST on December 6. If I cannot make my goal by tomorrow morning, I will refund all donors on request. You can view my progress towards my goal in the fundraising thermometer in the sidebar.

If you’ve enjoyed my previous work on the election, I ask you to help me continue doing it. Big or small, $1 or $100, whatever you can spare helps me get the truth out.
